Here's a little bit about me. When I was younger, I knew I wanted to be with children. At first, I thought I wanted to be a prenatel nurse.
I graduated from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood and Kindergarten. I married my husband Jeremy that summer and started working in Rapid City, SD as a teacher at Headstart.
I worked in Rapid City for two years until my husband took a job in Grand Junction, CO. Here, I worked at the Mesa State childcare center in the toddler room. I then took a job at the Business Incubator to help entrepreneurs get their businesses started.
In 2009, my husband and I had our beautiful daughter, Mallory. At the end of 2009, my husband recieved a transfer to Williston, ND. Jeremy moved in December and Mallory and I joined him in March 2010. I took so time off to be with my daughter and then accepted a job as the Pre-K teacher for Williston Headstart.
I love my job and couldn't imagine doing any other occupation. Every day is new and exciting, but the best part of my day is seeing the students' "ah ha" moments.
